Weight Loss during PREGNANCY

From Surviving Korea, 7 months ago, Read 0 times. Katulad na Artikulo

My second pregnancy is proving to be an absolute opposite from my first. The difference is quite evident not just with the food I eat but with my weight as well. When I was pregnant with little Zach I could barely keep food in my tummy because I always end up throwing up everything I take (and that includes even water). But despite being so weak from extreme morning sickness I still ended up gaining a lot of weight. My Korean OBGYNE even had to instruct me to go on a diet during my... Basahin pa

Manila, Manila...I'm coming home Manila

From Surviving Korea, 2 years ago, Read 0 times. Katulad na Artikulo

OK I've been so busy preparing for my trip that I didn't even bother to post anything new. I'm still worried about my luggage...I hope there won't be a need to pay for excess baggage. At the same time I'm also hoping to have a HEALTHY, swine flu FREE trip. I'm off to Manila on Oct.28...I'm super excited to be home after more than 2 years, but I'm also worried about my hubby. He might end up eating ??? tteok-bokk-i (Korean rice cake snack) and ?? ra-myeon (instant noodles)all the time. I'm... Basahin pa

Filipino MONKEYS

From Surviving Korea, 2 years ago, Read 1 times. Katulad na Artikulo

I was outraged by the mere thought that another MORON is out there calling Filipinos monkeys. WONDERGIRLS (famous Korean girl group) member Yu-bin supposedly called Filipinos monkeys (in her Twitter account) and she even said that it should keep on raining in the Philippines (during typhoon Ondoy) so Filipino monkeys will drown to death. GRRRRRR! I was fuming mad after hearing this from my sister. Anyway, to give the so-called "Ugly Yu-bin" the benefit of the doubt, I tried to check out the... Basahin pa

Sliced and Stitched

From Surviving Korea, 2 years ago, Read 0 times. Katulad na Artikulo

OK I know I'm an accident freak...I've been like that even as a child. A while ago while preparing dinner, I accidentally cut my middle finger. I mean the skin covering the top of my middle finger literally sliced off my finger...and it's not a regular wound because the doctor had to stitch it back. The damage was so deep that I even have to go back to the hospital every 2 days for the next 10 days or so. I even have a couple of medicines and injections to attend to. I cried my butt off a while... Basahin pa

I used to .....

From Surviving Korea, 2 years ago, Read 0 times. Katulad na Artikulo

The main reason why I started my blog is to be able to practice writing and thinking in English. However, after reading the comment of a frequent blog hopper(in another blog), I suddenly realized that my command of the English language is not getting any better than the first time I wrote posts in my blog.I used to write and speak the English language very well...when I say VERY WELL I mean academically speaking.... I can write tons of papers without or even just very few corrections on my... Basahin pa

Happy 9months Little Zach

From Surviving Korea, 2 years ago, Read 0 times. Katulad na Artikulo

Last Monday was Zach's 9th month and as usual I bought a cake to celebrate the special day. However, unlike the other monthly celebrations...Zach was in no mood to smile at the camera. I got so frustrated that I just gave up taking his pictures. Anyway, Zach already has 4 cute tiny teeth.....kkkk, and he loves to bite me (the best teether he ever had...bwahahaha). He can also stand up on his own by now (of course he still tumbles from time to time). He used to be a very quiet baby, but now he... Basahin pa
